At 6pm last Friday, the GB crew sat down to a tasty, outdoor Italian dinner. Not bad, right? It had been a long day, with gear coming in by the truckload from far and wide, but we were on-schedule, and a BEAST of a system was standing by inside Tufts’ Gantcher Center.
Talk about living up to a name. Also (and more lengthily) known as the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School Senior Prom 2008 featuring GrooveBoston, SuperProm was absolute INSANITY.

BUT we did it anyway… because we love you guys. Check out this video to see what it looks like when we put one of these “DJ in a box” setups inside a GrooveBoston Mobile Club.
8:00PM, January 25th. The eve of the Tufts Winter Bash. All that’s left to do is confirm that the boom lift has been delivered outside of the venue, and we can all go home and rest up for the big day.
One problem: The lift – essentially a portable crane for lighting installs – is nowhere to be seen. (more…)
