The Little Monitor That Could
When I first began dabbling in the DJ world, I was working at Radio Shack. It started by picking up a very basic mixer, and the adapters I needed to hook up my discman AND my sister’s at the same time — AMAZING!
Needless to say, the current GrooveBoston equipment arsenal has come a very, very long way since then, each element having been replaced, destroyed, or upgraded quite a few times since those days.

Ultimate Dance Party 1997
GOOD NEWS.
Unless you were hiding under a rock in 1997, I’m sure you recall a certain CD called Ultimate Dance Party 1997.

We’ve always kept this disc close by, for go-to songs like “Boom Boom Boom,” “I Like To Move It Move It,” and the occasional dance mix of “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” but we’ve been neglecting some GREAT dance music buried in the rest of the tracks. Namely, No Mercy’s 90s Classic, Where Do You Go? As we wrapped up a CRAZY dance set at Simmons’ Soiree last Saturday, at Veronique, we had a little trouble finding the perfect song to finish off the night. Bottom line, this song came through big!
