Annnnnnd…. we’re back.
I know all you faithful GB.com blog addicts out there have been feeling the anxiety pangs of our busy season. I understand that the lack of fresh content might have left you in a world that doesn’t make much sense. Kind of like if Shaggy made his comeback on a track that samples Air Supply’s “All Out Of Love” (unfortunately that’s actually true… it will hit in a few weeks… yikes.)
Or maybe you’re cool with it… either way… on to the post. Back to you in the studio, Tom.
So– Holy Cross. As we headed out through the rolling hills of Worcester, MA, the GB crew was snacking on a $4 dozen of delicious Boston Market cornbread. This could easily have been the highlight of the day, but that night was a different story. After a day-long build, the first ever Mobile Club @ Holy Cross was ready to go in the campus field house– and it looked hot.
The beginning of the night was slow (as usual… you crazy college kids and your late-night arrivals), but it gave me a chance to goof around with a new mix of “Love Song” which, as all you dudes out there know, will make most groups of females erupt in some sort of shriek / embrace / fistpump /leapintheairwithhandsflailing thing. You know what I’m talking about.

But, by 11:30 the house was PACKED. Spring Weekend was officially rocking with a fire set from GB and a crowd that was ready to PARTY. Let’s just say Spring Weekend headliner, Jason Mraz, is going to have his percussive acoustic-rap work cut out for him.
Holy Cross, you guys rule. Welcome to the club. No pun intended.
