The Fall Ball 2007 Trailer (in case you missed it):

“You guys should really have an oxygen tank up there”.

So we tend to get pretty pumped up during shows, but when the Tufts University Fire Marshal suggested that we might actually need medical assistance to get through this year’s Fall Ball… I knew we were in for a CRAZY night.

The reason? Our stage setup wasn’t our usual 4′ platform to put us just high enough to be seen over the crowd. Instead, we towered 15′ in the air, on top of a scaffold surrounded by a crown of Versa TUBEs– you can check out a picture of these below, but let’s just say they’re badass enough to have come straight to us after touring with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rise Against.

So enough about the stage… the show was insane. By midnight, the Gantcher Center at Tufts was packed with over 4,500 students– all of whom got to experience a dance club that dwarfed every bar and club in nearby downtown Boston, and was gone the next day. After the show, we heard that students were actually rushing the security lines, because they were so excited to get to the dance floor. Personally, I have to give some credit to Kanye West and Eric Prydz for this phenomenon… but lets just say we rocked the crowd, HARD.

Once again, Tufts, you guys know how to party. Also, a big shout out to Neil DiBiase (Tufts TCU Senate President) and Jamie Brown (Tufts Assistant Director of Student Activities) for putting on another hugely successful show.

Rest up… we’ll see you in the winter…
