Live Design International, a conference that features all areas of event production, was held this past weekend in Orlando. Rough, I know. So, as a service to YOU, our faithful clients and partiers, I packed up my summer gear and headed down to research the new gadgets that will be shaping the next year of crazy dance parties.

When I walked into the exhibit hall, my summer daze came screeching to a halt. Was I in Heaven? Maybe I should have taken the pedestrian footbridge instead of crossing 8 lanes of traffic on International Drive, but still, I didn’t remember dying. After getting my bearings, I confirmed that I was, in fact, still alive (thankfully), and that this room was just filled with some of the coolest toys I’d ever seen. Including… get this… tools to project video on a sheet of FOG. I’ll write it again to save you the trouble of moving your eyeballs back: You can project VIDEO on FOG. As in, the screen doesn’t exist. The image floats in the air. CRAZY.
