MCPHS >> Pharmacists party in style!
If you can judge a crowd’s party potential based on the number of syllables in their school name, then there’s one thing I know for sure: Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences knows how to have a good time.
After winding through a magically traffic-free Storrow Drive during rush hour (big shout-out to the traffic gods!), double parking on Clarendon Street, hauling gear through the rain, getting lost in a maze-like hotel underbelly, and parallel parking the van — WITH the trailer on it (thank you, thank you) — Ben and I finally emerged into one of the most gorgeous venues that Boston has to offer: The Grand Ballroom at the Fairmont Copley Plaza.
It was MCPHS’s Harvest Ball, and the guests enjoyed a classy five-course meal, complete with sorbet served in martini glasses (brilliant!). The sixth course: DANCE PARTY. And after a few hours of dinner music, we were ready to serve up an intense, delicious two-hour finale.
Thanks MCPHS — See you in a few weeks!
