We first worked with Endicott a few years back, helping create the legend that was Club Tupper — a ballroom-turned-dance club in a private beachside mansion. Since these early days, the Endicott crowd has always shown up ready for a crazy night, which is why we thought Club Calli (a new venue to accomodate a bigger crowd) was the perfect opportunity to show our new recruits what the Mobile Club is all about.

They’d seen pictures, and watched the videos on YouTube; they’d been to the GrooveBoston space and seen the gear up-close. But as the rig began to take shape, and we started firing things up, Louis, Christian, and Greg began to see what we had meant when we said, “So… we’re not really like other DJs…”

The night got going quickly. Ben and I had some fun with new remixes, and got to crank things up a notch when we dropped Bob Sinclair’s “Rock This Party” for the first time in GB history. It features samples from Gonna Make You Sweat (aka “Everybody Dance Now”), and if you know GrooveBoston at all, you know that we do love us some C&C Music Factory.

The rest of the night went everywhere from Chamillionaire to Cassidy, over to Spice Girls, back to Bon Jovi, and then up a crazy finale with Promiscuous and SexyBack dance remix and finally, Eric Prydz’s gift to the world, Call on Me. An intense finish, I know, but we knew Endicott could handle it. Thank God we had GB sweatbands to get us through.

Thanks, Endicott, for helping us show the new guys what it’s all about!
See you soon!
